The ACT Environmental Law Handbook is a comprehensive yet easy-to-read guide to the environmental law in the ACT. It details your rights and responsibilities across a range of areas including planning, heritage, water and biodiversity.

It is important that you use the Handbook as a starting point only, and not as a substitute for legal advice. You should make your own inquiries and take independent advice tailored to your specific circumstances prior to making any decisions or taking any action regarding your legal rights and obligations in any particular circumstances.
